Wow! It's been a bit, but I wanted to let everyone know that I've re-built this website as a static site and am hosting it myself after using blogger for so many years.
So - those of you who are reading this through a feed reader, you can update/change your reader to point at my new RSS feed:

I've already switched over the DNS entries, so anyone attempting to visit the old website url http://blog.patdavid.net will automatically get redirected to the new website. This post is primarily for those few hundred of you who are following me on RSS feeds. Please, please update your entries! You can probably just add my new url to your readers to automatically pick up the feed at http://patdavid.net !
